On 10 March 2022, World Kidney Day celebrates Kidney Health for All – Bridge the gap to better kidney care, this year’s theme. To mark the day, the World Kidney Day Joint Steering Committee is hosting two official webinars highlighting the different aspects of the 2022 theme. The webinars will explore ways to improve health literacy in co-design with patients at all levels of healthcare, from providers to policymakers. Effective communication and education will be explored as a powerful means to better usage of healthcare resources, improved access to transplantation and reduced mortality from kidney disease. New technologies and telecommunication tools such as social media will be discussed for their potential to provide opportunities to improve kidney disease education and connect all relevant stakeholders: public, patients, healthcare providers, and policymakers.

The webinar will be followed by a live chat with speakers as a unique and interactive opportunity to bring the World Kidney Day community together.
