ISN Webinar: Kidney Transplant Pathology, Banff Classification

The Banff Classification, established in 1991, set the first widely accepted criteria for diagnosing kidney transplant rejection. It has since evolved through biennial conferences, expanding to include other solid organ transplants with input from various medical experts. Now, it serves as the primary global reference for kidney allograft biopsy scoring in research, practice, and trials. Its multidisciplinary, evidence-based updates ensure continued international acceptance.

This webinar will first highlight the key milestones in the development of the Banff Classification of Kidney Allograft Pathology, followed by an in-depth update on the 2022 and 2024 advancements in the Banff classification.
