Personalized care after kidney transplantation mainly includes the following strategies:
- the personalized choice of the immunosuppressive regimen (induction and maintenance) to prevent acute rejection while reducing of long-term consequences of over-immunosuppression;
- the personalized targeted prophylaxis against opportunistic infection; and,
pharmacogenomic approaches to personalized post-transplant care.
This webinar will offer an overview of the above three strategies, before focusing in on the choice of the immunosuppressive regimen.
