The diagnostic investigations and the management of metabolic disorders and acute kidney injury are continuously improving. Both pathophysiological and clinical data will be presented, and clinical cases will be discussed about: - the regulation of renal hemodynamics, GFR and of tubular functions in normal and pathological conditions encountered in ICU - AKI related to “acute tubular necrosis”: pathophysiology, clinical aspects and non dialytic treatments - Various acute kidney diseases: rapidly progressive GN, vasculitis, interstitial nephritis - the renal replacement therapy in AKI.
Learning Objectives
